We set up, style and break down everything you need for the best, hassle free sleepover/picnic party! Based in Durban we hire out luxurious teepee’s 'slumber party and picnic' packages for boys, girls, tween's, teens & grown-ups across Durban.
In an age where a technological mindset is at the forefront of life, we aim to strip it all back and provide a good old-fashioned (indoor) glamping experience!

Our teepees are framed around a foam mattress taking up approximately 85m wide x 200xm long. The bed trays add an extra 30cm to the front of the mattress, so please bear this in mind when planning the number of guests at your sleepover. We're more than happy to work with you in any space and will always do our best to make it work wherever possible.
We are happy to help make additional space where needed when we arrive to set up but would expect a suitable space to have been organised and a clean floor to set up on prior to arrival.

We're not under any illusion of a crumb free sleepover but do expect that our teepees and props are treated well whilst 'on set'. If in the unlikely event of damages caused that are not washable/repairable then we would unfortunately have to charge an additional fee to cover replacements of specific damaged items.
With you Platinum Package we include a feast box.
You can also order themed cake, cupcakes and cake-pops at an additional cost.
To secure any reservation we would need to take a 50% non-refundable booking fee, the balance of your booking must be paid in full on the one day before set up. Payments can be made by EFT, a confirmation for your booking will be provided as soon as we receive your deposit.
An additional 20% of your total booking will be required as a breakage deposit and will be fully refundable on collection and inspection of any damages.
Simply fill in the contact us form and one of our friendly staff members will be in touch to discuss your requirements. You can also contact us or send us a mail with your party details.
Set up usually takes around 3 to 5 hours depending on the number of teepees and package you've opted for. We set up at a time to suit you any time after 12am (we are flexible with this wherever possible) on the afternoon of your party. Packing down takes 1 to 2 hours and can be done at any time the morning after your party prior to 11am (again, we are flexible with pick up time wherever possible).
Each kid only needs their pj’s and favorite pillow for extra comfort and for hygiene reasons. We supply everything ells they'll need for a cosy sleepover, including bedding (a lightweight cosy blanket, sheet and a duvet/duvet cover.
We currently based in Durban North. A transport fee may apply based on the distance from our offices to your house/ party location.
We make sure that all of our bedding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for each party. Guests need to bring their own pillows for hygiene reasons. All out mattresses also come with a waterproof cover.

My Teepee Glampover is designed for all ages, glamping recommended 3 years and up. Glamping mattress is the same size as a single bed mattress.Picnic there are many themes to accommodate all ages. Birthdays, mom and me time, hen parties or just a fun sleepover.


At My Teepee Events we ask that each guest please bring their own pillow for hygienic reasons, besides your own pillow will be comfier and make the guest feel like they are at home.

Terms and Conditions



  1. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking with the remaining 50% due 1 day prior to the setup of your event.
  2. An additional 10% of your total booking fee will be required as a breakage deposit and will be fully refundable on collection and inspection of any damages.
  3. If full payment is not received prior to your event setup, My Teepee Glampover reserves the right to withhold the delivery and setup of your event.
  4. Please refer to our banking details on the invoice sent to you. Please ensure that you use your Invoice number as a reference when making payment.

  1. We require at least 2 weeks’ notice to book your event.
  2. Note that some of our bookings are done months in advance, so please don't wait until its too late to book your event.
  1. If any damage to our equipment or decor occurs in your care, you will be held responsible/ liable to pay for the damage/s.
  2. Any damage or loss of hire material while in use by the client will be charged for at full replacement price.


  1. Quotations are valid for 14 days only, should you require any additions or changes to the quote provided My Teepee Glampover has the right to revise the quote.
  2. In the case that any invoice provided by My Teepee Glampover has received payment by deposit or in full, this means that all terms and conditions have been accepted fully by you / the client.

  1. All equipment and decor provided in terms of this quotation is for hire only and at all times will remain the property of My Teepee Glampover, unless otherwise specified clearly and accepted by both parties in writing.
  2. If any added extras have been purchased, My Teepee Glampover accepts no liability what’s so ever for loss or damage to purchased items.
  3. A standard transport fee will be charged for delivery and collection based on the location of your event.
  4. My Teepee Glampover accepts no liability what’s so ever for loss or injury which results in the client’s gross negligence from use or misuse of the equipment and services provided by My Teepee Events its staff or any of its representatives.
